ESC Celebrates 30th Anniversary

It’s hard to believe, but on August 8th, 2020, it will have been 30 years since my father, Gene Bybee, officially incorporated the company he started in the basement of my childhood home. Back then, we never could have imagined all of the amazing employees, clients, and partners that we would be blessed to work with over the next 30 years.

In the beginning, we would take on any engineering project we could to help pay the bills. Soon, my Dad was getting busier. Additional team members were added to help cover other engineering disciplines, including electrical, structural, civil, and automation. Our client focus eventually evolved into serving industrial, manufacturing, food process, and pharmaceutical clients.  The projects and clients that we have been involved with over the years has been amazing.

A number of things have changed over the years, but Gene’s original idea to run an engineering company in a way that honors God and places a clear priority on caring for our team members and clients has stayed the same. The blessings that we have seen in our organization have been enormous, and we have been able to share those blessings with others in the local community (and around the world) by making financial contributions in addition to sharing some of our expertise.

I would like to personally thank all of the current and former employees, and current and former clients of ESC for your part in making this happen. We don’t take any of this for granted and we are humbled every day by the trust that our clients place with us to tackle the tough engineering challenges that they face. We look forward to welcoming more friends (clients and employees) into the ESC family in the coming years and are excited to see where God leads us.
