Ted Pridgen
Project Manager
WHO ARE YOU?
Since retirement didn't take, I became the "oldest" newbie to the ESC family. I use my nearly three decades of industrial maintenance and engineering background to care for my clients as well as my passion – my 31-acre property.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Besides rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, I serve both my client and my design team in the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources.
FAVORITE ESC MOMENT?
My favorite moment actually occurred before I was an ESC employee. I was a project manager for Kraft Foods at the time and Andy Snider, Willy Strausbaugh and myself were doing a startup on a milk unloading system at the plant. Andy and Willy were doing an electrical/controls checkout on a system that tells the milk which silo to flow into. Willy accidentally opened the wrong valve and doused Andy with several gallons of milk. As a diligent Kraft employee, I made sure that Andy had a package pass to enable him to take a “shirt and pant load” of milk out of the building to get by security and prevent him from getting accused of theft of company property. Funny thing is, Willy “accidentally” did the exact same thing to an electrician later in the week.
